Evil Left Works Their Magic On Tragic Shooting

As soon as I heard about the shooting of the Congresswoman Giffords (D-AZ), I told my wife that the media would move quickly to paint the gunman as a right-wing lunatic, regardless of the truth. This was not brilliant analysis, but a common sense reaction to decades of watching the Left paint every whack job that wanders down the block as a right-wing conservative.
To confirm my thesis, I did some research upon arriving home and discovered a Facebook page for a Jared Laughner from Tucson, AZ that would make any conservative proud. Mentions of Beck, Palin, Rush, Jesus, Christian Rock, Tea Party, etc. They didn't miss a note. The odd thing was, the actual assailants name is spelled Loughner, but the initial reports from the scene mispelled the name Laughner. Is there any doubt what happened here? A Leftist group put together a Facebook page to make the guy look like a conservative, even though his MySpace page lists the Communist Manifesto and Mein Kampf as two of his favorite books.
Keep a close eye on how the media covers this one. The Leftwing Establishment will do everything in their power to make this twisted, sick commie look like a Tea Party Patriot. It's up to us to stay vigilant and not allow this lie to take hold.

Your prediction is spot on (as always). Fortunately, the "outrage from the left" has thus far been limited to MSM, and no politicians on the left have taken the bait ... yet. If they do, they'll do so at their own peril.
When you examine the profile of his apparent target, Congresswoman Giffords, she was a supporter of gun rights, and stronger boarder protection (more of a moderate Democrat and hardly a left winger herself). Clearly this guy was a nut-case as so accurately profiled by Dawg. He was likely a pawn, and easily influenced to take action endorsed by other antisemitic nut-cases.
Obviously my prayers are with Congresswoman Giffords and the families of those involved in this tragic incident.
I watched Meet the Press this morning and David Gregory seemed to be going to some length to tie the incident to vitriol in politics. What he never mentioned was that the shooter, while in all likelihood deranged, counted the Communist Manifesto among his favorite books (as Pundit noted). Doesn't that provide all the evidence you need as to his true political views - Leftist. There may be far more going on here, but if nothing else the guy is a LEFTIST whacko.
