Two Idiots and a make-up artist.I'm not proud to say it, but I watch Morning Joe on a regular basis. I've sworn the show off more times than I can count, but I keep coming back for some unknown reason. I know I should look away, but I just can't help myself. It's like a train wreck and Joe is the conductor.
The show has a familiar MSNBC theme. Blithering idiot hosts and a slew of liberal guests, with the occasional conservative thrown in for appearances. However, what makes this show a completely revolting affair is Joe's continual claim to the conservative mantle. If he's a conservative, he's the Judas Iscariot version.
If nothing else, Joe's act is consistent and generally follows this theme: If Joe criticizes a Democrat, he always criticizes a Republican for the same offense:
- "Yeah, Barack Obama shouldn't have done that, but George Bush did the same thing."
- "Democrats are spending way too much money, but Republicans are just as bad."
- "Obama could have reacted more quickly to the Gulf oil spill, but his response was far superior to George Bush's during Katrina."
The same can't be said for his criticism of Republicans. They generally stand alone at Joe's whipping post.
In my view, his act is one of complete dishonesty. He tells the audience five to ten times a show that he is a small government conservative, but never misses an opportunity to bash and slander the party that most represents those values. Conversely, this charlatan seemingly never misses an opportunity to praise the most liberal politicians of our era.
I've come to the conclusion that Joe is just not that smart. In fact, he's dumb enough to think this act is fooling anyone with an IQ above 80. It's not. Everyone (Left & Right) sees him for what he is. A guy who sold his soul for a paycheck.
Joe stooped to new lows this week. His commentary around the Arizona shootings was nothing short of dispicable. He piled on the purveyors of right-wing rhetoric with as much vim and vigor as any liberal talking head. Watching him and his idiot counterpart attempt to tie the discourse of conservative talkers and politicians to the heinous act was enough to make me wretch.
Seriously, what true conservative takes that position? NONE!
I honestly don't know how the guy looks at himself in the mirror. He can't think we're all stupid enough to buy this act, but he's definitely stupid enough to be our Liberal Idiot of the Month.

You hit it on the head with Joe the Traitor. He has sold his soul to the devil, but wants everyone to believe he's the honest conservative, who is willing to criticize his own for the betterment of the country. Nothing could be further from the truth. He's a mushy moderate (liberal) who wants to play both sides to suit his needs.
Bernie Madoff has more credibility than Joe Scarborough.

These idiots didn't even wait until they got the victims to the hospital in Tucson before
they started their hate fest againt the Conservatives and republicans...Shameful and
disgusting were their attacks and this Sheriff Dipstick from Pima county should be fired...
God we are surrounded by a great cloud of darkness.......
I watched as Scarborough devolved from a likable conservative to a wussy rino. I agree that he is not very intelligent.
I'm sure he realizes that if he lost this gig, he would have to get a real job. Personal integrity is easy to give up if it was not very deep to begin with.

HB we still have snow on the ground, as a matter of fact snow fell in every state
except Florida....The amount in Jawja accumulated from five to seven inches in some
locations and it turned into a real problem after all the roads frozen and all the traffic
came to a stand still.....
Our Falcons got their rear end handed to them by the Pack last night, but that is the
Falcons, can't win the big one, never will, until they change their stupid behavior and
act like a sports team, instead of a circus........
Joe Scarborough is no more a conservative than Michael Moore is.

Now that they have given Olberdouchebag his walking papers will the rest of that
zoo crew tone down the hate mongering toward the left or will Fat Eddy burn that
place down....Maybe Comcast has pink slips for more of those morons and Prissy
Matthews will lose that tingle up his leg.......
