The Left: Classless Trash That Smells Worse With Age

Have you ever seen a group of scumbags work harder to exploit a tragedy? The end goal is clear. Disarm and silence all dissent - you know, like Cuba.

Thank God we voted enough of these Marxist thugs out in November so they can't set policy without Republican support. Otherwise, we'd likely be looking at new restrictions on free speech, guns, donuts, etc.

To the Left, it appears that this is all about taking back the independent voter. It's Bill Clinton and the Oklahoma City bombing 2.0. A manufactured boogyman that has no connection to the guilty party, but who serves as a whipping boy for all that is wrong with our society. It is now, as it was then. Rush Limbaugh and talk radio.

The trash in the media are only too happy to advance this horse dung, all the while knowing there isn't a shred of truth to any of it. Oh, well. If they had a conscience they wouldn't be Marxists.

Spot on Pundit. They're so transparent it's comical - but it's not.

Glad to see you posting again Chuck. I guess the current political climate has you a bit riled up.

If I were Sarah Palin, Rush, Glenn et al, I'd give these Blamers the same double handed gesture as the hippie being wheeled to the ambalampses in front of the burning house.

(Blamer - you know like Birther, Truther, Tenther..

“The desperate hope that the losers in November of 2010 had was that they could revitalize their political fortunes because of this unfortunate shooting of a Congresswoman in Arizona. It’s not the way we think. And we certainly don’t look to these events to move our political agenda forward. But the left is depraved, empty, and without any political substance whatsoever.” ~Rush Limbaugh

“True to Rahm’s Rule of never letting a good crisis go to waste, liberal pundits and Democratic politicians are consciously exploiting Saturday’s tragic shooting in Tucson for political gain. At a time when the country should be coming together calmly to make sense of something awful, the left has exploded in a shameful display of divisive grandstanding.”

“These accusations — that political actors contributed to the murder of 6 people, including a 9-year-old girl — are extremely grave. They were made despite the fact that there was, and is, no evidence that Loughner was part of these movements or a consumer of their literature. They were made despite the fact that the link between political rhetoric and actual violence is extremely murky. They were vicious charges made by people who claimed to be criticizing viciousness.” ~Richard Brooks
http://www.nytimes.com/2011/01/11/opinion/11brooks.html

“Yet such is the state of things. We have a news media that is psychologically ill informed but politically inflamed, so it naturally leans toward political explanations. We have a news media with a strong distaste for Sarah Palin and the Tea Party movement, and this seemed like a golden opportunity to tarnish them. We have a segmented news media, so there is nobody in most newsrooms to stand apart from the prevailing assumptions. We have a news media market in which the rewards go to anybody who can stroke the audience’s pleasure buttons.” ~Richard Brooks
http://www.nytimes.com/2011/01/11/opinion/11brooks.html

“…lessons from history won’t stop some Democrats exploiting the shooting of a nine-year-old girl and five others at the weekend with precisely the sort of foam-flecked over-reaction for which they love to condemn their opponents on the Right.”

“…the instantaneous reaction of the hard Left, President Obama’s base, was to politicize the Tucson atrocity as a natural, an inevitable, result of conservative ideology, enthusiasm for immigration-law enforcement and gun ownership by law-abiding Americans, and dissent from Obama’s policies...” ~Andrew McCarthy

“There is no point debating any of this. Two years ago, we were still being told dissent was the highest form of patriotism; now it’s the root cause of murderous rampage. Modern leftists are tacticians. They’ve convinced themselves of the rightness of their cause, obviating the need to be consistent or faithful to facts in any single episode. For them, it’s all about how the episode can be spun to help the cause. That’s worth understanding, but not debating.” ~Andrew McCarthy
http://www.nationalreview.com/articles/256813/horrid-crime-dishonest-debate-andrew-c-mccarthy

“…can we forget that Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn’s atrocities transformed them into icons of the modern Left — respected “educators” still passionate about “social justice”? Barack Obama didn’t say, “I’ll have nothing to do with unrepentant terrorists who dedicate books to deranged assassins.” He chose to hold his political coming-out party in their living room and cultivated relationships with them, just as he cultivated a relationship with other hate-mongering radicals.” ~Andrew McCarthy

From Jay Nordlinger's National Review piece titled Hypocrisy Unending...

Assassination? Allow me to excerpt a couple of paragraphs from my piece:

Even before Bush was elected president, the kill-Bush talk and imagery started. When Governor Bush was delivering his 2000 convention speech, Craig Kilborn, a CBS talk-show host, showed him on the screen with the words “SNIPERS WANTED.” Six years later, Bill Maher, the comedian-pundit, was having a conversation with John Kerry. He asked the senator what he had gotten his wife for her birthday. Kerry answered that he had taken her to Vermont. Maher said, “You could have went to New Hampshire and killed two birds with one stone.” (New Hampshire is an early primary state, of course.) Kerry said, “Or I could have gone to 1600 Pennsylvania and killed the real bird with one stone.” (This is the same Kerry who joked in 1988, “Somebody told me the other day that the Secret Service has orders that if George Bush is shot, they’re to shoot Quayle.”) Also in 2006, the New York comptroller, Alan Hevesi, spoke to graduating students at Queens College. He said that his fellow Democrat, Sen. Charles Schumer, would “put a bullet between the president’s eyes if he could get away with it.”

A columnist in Britain’s Guardian, Charlie Brooker, wrote, “John Wilkes Booth, Lee Harvey Oswald, John Hinckley Jr. — where are you now that we need you?” Betty Williams, the Irishwoman who won the Nobel Peace Prize, said, “I have a very hard time with this word ‘non-violence,’ because I don’t believe that I am non-violent. . . . Right now, I would love to kill George Bush.” A novelist, Nicholson Baker, was so filled with rage at Bush, he wrote a novel mulling the question of assassinating him. In Britain, there was a TV movie — a “fictional documentary” — that was a kind of fantasy: on the assassination of Bush. (It was called Death of a President.) Etc., etc.

While it seems that Obama is trying to take the "high road" on this, HIllary has yet to get the message and is telling the world that the accused assailant is an "extremist", when the facts clearly show that he is nothing but a nut-case with no apparent political agenda. Truth has many shades when you speak from the left.

The old gray lady ( New York Times) is on her last leg, thanks to Krugman, Rich,
Dowd and all the American hating liberals employed who slithers under the doors
each morning to write their vile lies and smears against anyone who believes in
America, conservative values and our constitution......

And this memorial service in Arizona held last night by the democrats was a sickeing
display and turned out to be a Pep Rally instead a memorial to honor the victims of that
monster who did the shooting and murdered that precious nine year old child....

The liberals and the media never disappoint and this thing was a pure and simple
disgrace to the families of the victims.....

God i know you love America, please save us again for we are slowly circling
the drain.....

I need a "do over" to post another thought that just occurred to me.
How do you suppose Paul Krugman would respond to the following question:
"Mr. Krugman: Which of the of the following event alternatives would you have preferred to have taken place in Tuscon Arizona::
a. The event occurred on October 30, 2010, a few days prior to the election?
b. The assailant turned out to be a well documented Republican and Tea Party supporter?
c. The assailant was Sarah Palin's son?
d. All of the above?
e. The event didn't occur?

January 14, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterBruce

Bruce, that is outstanding. We all know the answer is the last option. No doubt about it.

January 14, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterJoPa

Sorry, I meant the answer was anything but the last option. He'd never pick that one when there are political points to score.

They ARE desperate. They see their liberal agenda crumbling down! And YES, they are milking the Arizona tragedy for everything it's worth! It's so f**king obvious!! BUT, as usual, the gullible masses eat up Nobama's BULLSHIT!! DOUCHES!!! If things don't change in 2012, THAT'S IT!!!
