The Times They Are A Changing...

After giving it considerable thought, I've concluded that I need to tweak the posting format of FL Pundit. As many of you know, I currently post five to eight items each day. However, my professional workload has increased to the point that I can no longer meet that schedule. What I've decided to do is what many other bloggers do - post less frequently, but with more pop when I do. In other words, less clutter, but more quality.

Unlike many blogs this size, FL Pundit has always generated an inordinate number of comments and a very loyal and active user base. Posters like Georgia Dawg, Horsebutt, Bruce, Liberty 2010 and Herb Tarlek have become personal friends over the past year. Other posters like Sideburns, Coastie, JoPa, The Commander and Dano (among many others) have been loyal friends to the site. I want that to continue and I'll do my part to make sure it does. I just wanted you to know why I won't be posting as often as I have in the past.

Best,

FL Pundit

Chuck:
Your increased workload is obviously a reflection of your commercial success, and you are to be congratulated for your ability to balance the important obligations you have to your family and work. Reducing the time you spend on the FLPundit blog is fully understandable.
If we wish, we, as "your loyal subscribers", have the opportunity to submit observations and comments to the Discussion thread should we feel the need to vent and air our opinions.
Wishing you all the best in your commercial endeavors,
Bruce

Chuck-

I can only second Bruce's comments. My first thought upon reading your message above was - "how terrific, business is up" - good for you. I love this blog and am glad it will continue in whatever form works. And I hope to continue to read comments from all the regulars who have made me laugh or weep with their zings at the left-wing lunacy we must suffer in this grand nation of ours.

In liberty~

PS - Most of you probably live in parts of the country where the Red shines brightly, thank God for the flyover parts of the country. Pray for those of us stuck here in deep blue territory - California is going to crash and I only hope I can get out before it gets too bad...
In San Francisco not a single Republican cracked 25% of the vote. I don;t know what is more depressing - where I live or where I come from - and the fact that there they re-elected Bawney Fwank in Massachusetts...

Can't blame a man for making a living! I appreciate all that you do in your spare time to enlighten those that can not see. You do what you have to to survive, and we'll do what we can to help.

I found your blog some 6 months ago and have enjoyed it daily. I will look forward to it in the future. Keep up the good work.

Chuck,

It's been a great run and I'll continue to be a loyal FL Pundit junkie. I can't even begin to comprehend the time and effort invested to establish and maintain this blog. I'm sure it's been enjoyable and rewarding (it has been for me), but I'm sure its also taken valuable time away from other responsibilities. I'll never forget the look on Mrs. Tarlek's face the first time I told her she was married to the winner of the Turd Ferguson Comment of the Week. Things like that money can't buy!

I enjoy what you do and appreciate it, by all means scale back before you burn out and disappear away completely. I'll take what I can get :)

FL Pundit,

I have been hoping that you would slow down a little. I'm an old man and can't keep up my deep, thought provoking, intellectual comments on every post. Oops, I got myself confused with Herb Tarlek for a minute there, sorry.

This is the only site where I actually feel as if the other commenters are my friends, well, except for Georgia Dawg. And I used to respect him till I heard about that incident involving him and those cheerleaders down in Atlanta that night back in July.
