Joe Scarborough - MSNBC Commentator & David Brooks Conservative

Joe Scarborough has been wearing on my last good nerve for several months. He has always been a pompous blowhard and frequent defender of Obama and the communist Left. However, his recent defense of Obama's handling of the Gulf oil spill has devolved into nothing short pandering to the far-left.

His relationships with those inside the White House, which he references often on his Morning Joe show, are clearly more important to him than his professional integrity. Joe actually referenced his good friend "Gibby" earlier this week. For those who don't know, Gibby is Robert Gibbs, the idiot press secretary for Barack Obama. From what I've read, you couldn't find two journalists that would give Gibbs a dixie cup of water if his brain was on fire, yet Scarborough and he are tight. Should a political commentator really be calling the White House press secretary by a cheesy nickname on national television? Not if they're to be taken seriously.

Scarborough also frequently goes out of his way to create moral equivalencies. If Democrats are caught in some sort of controversy - which they frequently are - you can always count on Joe to reference a similar Republican controversy to ease the sting for liberals. If he were paid for every out-of-left-field insult he threw at conservatives, he'd be a very wealthy man.

For this and the fact that he is about as conservative as I am purple, Joe Scarborough is our Liberal Idiot of the Week.

Helen Thomas (D) - Mainstream Media Reporter / Syrian Troll

The time of the ghoulish Helen Thomas has mercifully come to an end. Joyously, she had no one to blame for her demise but herself as she let slip some of her long held anti-semitic bile. It seems that didn't go over well with her employer and she was fittingly put out to pasture.

Thomas started her White House reign of liberally biased terror in November of 1960 with President-Elect John F. Kennedy and served in that role through ten different presidents. Not surprisingly, the more conservative the president, the nastier her disposition and the more outrageous her questions. She was if nothing else, a tireless voice of Leftist propaganda. She was to objectivity as an anorexic is to food - devoid of it.

Winston Churchill once said, "Show me a young conservative and I'll show you someone with no heart. Show me an old liberal and I'll show you someone with no brains". Based on that adage, Helen Thomas was mentally challenged to the extreme.

For that and 50 years of other biased crap, Helen Thomas is our LIOTW.

Star Wars Nerd Robert GibbsRobert Gibbs - White House Press Secretary

Gibbs has been in the running for this award since its inception. His smug, arrogant manner makes him as unlikeable as any dolt in this clueless administration.

This week he continued his ridiculous parsing of words around the Sestak / Romanoff jobs controversy. Watching this derelict do his job is like watching a union welder attempting brain surgery with a tire iron and a blow torch. It ain't pretty.

Gibbs really should have one of the easiest jobs in the world. The press wallow at the feet of Obama and Democrats outnumber Republicans by a wide margin in the briefing room.

Yet even with all of that, he has managed to anger virtually every reporter who works the White House beat. Why? Because he mixes a combination of incompetence and arrogance that is almost mind boggling. In fact, I'm not sure I've ever seen someone who was more off-base about their own abilities. He thinks he's good, everyone else thinks he sucks. The latter group is correct.

Hillary Clinton - Secretary of State

Hillary Clinton has done a very good job of keeping herself out of harms way during the first 16 months of the disastrous Obama administration. She has accomplished this feat by keeping her sizable mouth shut. 

However, this week proved to be an exception to that new rule. In a Thursday afternoon discussion at the liberal Brookings Institution, she said, “The rich are not paying their fair share in any nation that is facing the kind of employment issues’’ that confront the United States and other nations, “whether it is individual, corporate, whatever the taxation forms are.”

She then went on to say that you need look no further than Brazil for proof that high taxes and a strong economy aren't mutually exclusive. “Brazil has the highest tax-to-G.D.P. rate in the Western hemisphere. And guess what? It’s growing like crazy. The rich are getting richer, but they are pulling people out of poverty. There is a certain formula there that used to work for us until we abandoned it — to our regret, in my opinion. My view is that you have to get many countries to increase their public revenues.”

Comparing the economies of Brazil and the United States is like comparing a Ferrari to a Ford Pinto. It's asinine. Yet off she goes suggesting we need to raise taxes on the rich because Brazil, until fairly recently considered a third world country, has done it.

Actually, they do a lot of things well in Brazil. Soccer, oil, beaches, savages who disfigure themselves (see photo). All that said, I'm not sure we want to be looking to Brazil for our economic policy. Let's just say their track record sucks, not unlike that of liberal Democrats.

John Morton - U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement

John Morton, ICELiberals are such easy targets. Virtually everything they do is wrong and often stupid beyond words. The latest example of this - and there are many - comes from John Morton, the assistant secretary of homeland security for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

What did Morton do? Well, he said his agency will not necessarily process illegal immigrants referred to them by Arizona authorities. In other words, we don't like your law and we're not going to deport anyone you pick up, whether they are illegal or not. Morton made the comments during a meeting on Wednesday with the editorial board of the Chicago Tribune.

Here is more detail from Fox News:

The law, which criminalizes being in the state illegally and requires authorities to check suspects for immigration status, is not "good government," Morton said.

"I don't think the Arizona law, or laws like it, are the solution," Morton told the newspaper.

The best way to reduce illegal immigration is through a comprehensive federal approach, he said, and not a patchwork of state laws.

The law, which criminalizes being in the state illegally and requires authorities to check suspects for immigration status, is not "good government," Morton said.

In response to Morton's comments, DHS officials said President Obama has ordered the Department of Justice to examine the civil rights and other implications of the law.

"That review will inform the government's actions going forward," DHS spokesman Matt Chandler told Fox News on Friday.

Fox News legal analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano said ICE is not obligated to process illegal immigrants referred to them by Arizona authorities.

"ICE has the legal discretion to accept or not to accept persons delivered to it by non-federal personnel," Napolitano said. "It also has the discretion to deport or not to deport persons delivered to it by any government agents, even its own."

So this dolt, through his affiliation with the Obama administration, says they may just release illegal aliens that are delivered to them by Arizona officials. Who on earth thinks this is a good idea?

Idiot liberals, that's who.

Republican Jeff Sessions was none to happy when informed about Morton's comments, suggesting that if he can't fulfill the duties of the office, he should resign.

Don't hold your breath.
