Cultural Recommendation (44)

What follows is an acoustic version of the Pink Floyd classic Echoes. This version shows the true musicality of the great David Gilmour and his band as they improvise their way through what is a truly electric song.

Solid performance Pundit....

A bit of history from my South.......
Often as i see and hear the guitar being played it brings back memories when i was a
kid living on the farm and my dad and Mom would on many weekends load up the car
and take me and my sisters on trips with them to play for the folks at dances...Everyone
would load up for miles around and head out to a selected home, the women folk would
cook and bring all kind of food and drink and the kids would play games and have fun until
dark.. Then dad would sit us back out of the way, the dance would start, people clapping
their hands and singing, dancing and just having a wonderful time..As always between
midnight and early morning we would load up and head home knowing that we had loving
parents and friends that enjoyed each other and shared true feeling and that meant the
world to us kids...

I'd like to see some of today's "artists" perform acoustic without their AUTOTUNE helping them out and see how they do. These guys are TRUE musicians.

Probably not cool to say but I've always liked Gilmour more than Waters.
