Krauthammer: An O'Donnell Win In Delaware Is A Loser For The GOP

Here's some food for thought for everyone. I can't remember the last time Krauthammer was wrong on an issue.

If I lived in Delaware, I'd vote for her over that RINO in a heartbeat. Screw pragmatism.

My heart say's you're right Dmitry, but I just don't think she can win in the general election based on everything I've read. Castle is as bad as it gets for Republican, but he still beats a Democrat. It's a very tough call. The Republican who can win and that will vote with the GOP 80% of the time, or the one your heart is with, but that you don't believe can win at the end of the day.

Tough call. Castle is the most liberal Republican in Congress according to one source, but O'Donnell has baggage herself. She has sound conservative credentials, but can she win the general? According to the experts (conservative and otherwise), it will be nearly impossible. That being said, Castle is said to be a shoe in.

It's like being in a bar at the end of the night. Do you go for the beauty who would likely jilt you or do you settle for the butter face who is a lock?

In all sincerity, I couldn't vote for Castle either. I absolutely see Krauthammer's point, but Castle is just too far off the reservation. That said, if O'Donnell does win, I think she will have a very tough slog in the general election.

I think Dr. K may be proven wrong on this. The case for O'Donnell:
Castle will not vote to 'repeal and replace' ObamaCare. That alone should disqualify him!
Castle is also on record saying he'll continue supporting Obama's agenda -- meaning he's tone deaf to Americans who aren't happy with the direction our country has taken under Obama. Granted, Castle may be entrenched in the GOP establishment in Delaware, but isn't that more of a hindrance these days? I think so. Besides, O'Donnell was the GOP's nominee back in '08 for this seat, and I think she's an even stronger candidate now. Yes, she has baggage, but so what. I don't think it automatically disqualifies her. Especially since Castle's operatives are the ones who've dug up the dirt on her. O'Donnell is still my choice when you compare the promise of her candidacy against Castle's FORTY PLUS YEARS in politics! And unlike Dr. K, I think O'Donnell can win in November. Because this is the year career pols get dumped!

I thought I would never have to say this to the Hammer," NONSENSE ,COMPLETE ,NONSENSE ", Conservatism will always WIN at the ballot box in times like we have today .

O'Donnell will beat Castle's by 6 points 1:00pm

Hammer was also pretty negative on Palin. She's batting 1000 on her endorsements and while playing the press and liberals like a grand piano. Wrong again Hammer, but I still like and respect you.

O'Donnell won! If she defeats the Dem in the general election I'm certain that Charles will be gracious in his congratulations to her.
I think the Tea Party is becoming even more powerful than anyone gave it credit for. A huge shot of conservative values in Congress may stem the "liberal infection".
