Phil is my Congressman and he is a real standup guy...He's got the right attitude and
makes more sound decisions than anyone in congress, but infortunately he gets shut
out by the dem's in Washington...

While I don't disagree with his sentiments, I see nothing in the cards that will make "compromise" a part of Congress. We won, you lost! There are no "statesmen" anymore; only politicians.
Just about the most positive thing he stated is that for 6 months prior to election, nothing gets done. Too bad the 6 months couldn't be extended to 12, or 18, or 24.
