For another viewpoint see today's American Spectator: Story by Jeffery Lord.
While I disagree with Lord's portrayal that Sherrod was knowingly lying about the "lynching" of a relative, his essay regarding the role of racist Democrat progressives (Justice Hugo Black and Senator Richard Russell) is very informative.
Bruce, I think Jeffrey Lord's piece was very good, but one thing troubles me.
The word "lynching" does not mean killing by "hanging" only. In years past, any unlawful killing by a mob is a lynching.
My fear is that the left will jump on that to discredit yet another "right wing uninformed racist comment". Their words, not mine.
This woman has her two minutes of fame and recovery and has proven just what she
is, a liberal racist...The media will play it for all its worth, anything to show a darkside
into the GOP Party and fuel for the 2010 elections...
This is just a small sample as to what is coming down the road, so buckle up tight folks,
it could and more likely be a bumpy ride ahead....

I'm having an especially cranky Monday and this crap is just driving me insane.
Why am i getting the feeling that this whole Sherrod story was concocted and more likly
orchestrated by this very liberal media or someone in this administration to bring to all a
message, the GOP and conservatives are out to get the poor darling Barry and will stop
at nothing to destroy him
This whole thing smells and has BS written all over it...
