When Billy gets through cleaning up his parish, we need to send him to Washington to clean up that fetid mess.
This is precisely what Captain KickAss and Lieutenant SmartAss don't get, 'cause they have never had to be the chief EXECUTIVE of anything.
Gig 'em, Billy!
I think Billy has a great future ahead of him.
He is a walkin', talkin', "take no prisioners" image of what "bias for action" looks like, and we need more leaders like him.
The man said it all in 1 short sentance >> there are no leaders.
Billy, welcome to Obama's America, all azz and no class and one more thing, " watch your
back friend." The prez administration has said they could assiassinate an American citizen
if they were expected to be terrorist with only due cause, what ever the hell that means..
What ever happen to due process of law, a fair trial and a jury that the Messiah so spoken
about....
I'm up here in Indiana watching with stunned disbelief ever since this thing blew up months ago. I as well as surely many other people are pretty confused as to how this can be.
The level of complete and total incompetence in this whole situation is simply beyond words. I actually DO NOT KNOW how any organization, ANY organization, even if it was a Popsicle stand ran by a 9 year old in Podunk, could do such a PISS POOR job with this oil spill.
It is becoming so bad, I almost am ready to say that they wanted it.
Almost ready to say that "they" got the news that the rig blew up and was leaking and they said "good, let it hit land, we want it to hit land because _______________" -- you fill in the blank.
The incompetence is SO FAR BEYOND BELIEF that it is becoming easier for me to believe it was intentional.
The administration didn't miss a beat with all of their big tax and spend bills. They bribed and begged and pulled every string and bent every rule of law they could to ram through their trillions of spending, but they can't bribe and beg and pull every string, bend every rule, to simply LET the people in the gulf protect themselves.
Nope, I'm not sure they're this stupid. I think they might just be this evil.
Indy welcome aboard,
I spent some time in your beautiful state, flew into Fort Wayne for a few days and over
to milford to the Chore-Time/Brock Mfg.Company...We stopped many times on the trip to
look at those long Corn rows, you cam see for miles and miles, nothing but glistering white
gall and soon to be tossel's on those beautiful rows of green corn...
Stay safe and give us a hollow anytime you feel the urge, we are a bunch of gun toting,
Bible thumping Conservatives from all over this beautiful America...
@GeorgiaDawg
All the due process and freedoms were destroyed by the legislation Bush and the republicans passed, with most Dems on board as well. Have you ever actually read portions of the *cough* BS *cough* PATRIOT Act? Obama is Bush 2.0. Neither one really makes decisions, more like they have their strings pulled. The Bush era was the unveiling of the iron fist, now Obama's job is to really beat us over the head with it.
@IndianaObserver
You probably are not far off with your suspicions. The government often allows or initiates pain on the citizens so they bow to their demands. Consider how Obama admitted he was not going to do anything to help along the southern border because it will eliminate the incentive for Republicans to support so-called comprehensive immigration reform, A.K.A. amnesty. And no, 1200 national guard on the southern border is not help. It's like spitting on a house fire. So, the puppet president is continuing the Bush policy of no border despite it is one of very few responsibilities of the general government. Get rid of the SPP (Security and Prosperity Partnership) and decriminalize drugs and you would see a lot of the violence down there eliminated. Look up LEAP (Law Enforcement Against Prohibition). Last I checked, there are no longer bootlegging gangsters shooting up NYC and Chicago over cases of booze. Now, the CIA helps to bring in heavy drugs so the banks can launder the money. Then additional drug cartels get in the competition. The governments then create the "war" on drugs which just gives them more power while securing their black market. With all the real threats in this world, I think federal money to create military SWAT teams to raid homes at 4am for some weed is ridiculous. So, as we have the marines guarding opium in Afghanistan and the southern border wide open, sub-100 IQ roid-head cops kick in Americans' doors, shoot their dogs, taser their wives, and kick the s**t out of everyone. Don't forget the high fives on the way out. Let me give you a clue SWAT teams, the corporate masters you serve are going to take your pensions too once austerity measures are put in place. You can thank the Federal Reserve for the debt based monetary system we use. I think separating families in this manner is far worse than deporting illegals.
Why don't the governors along the Gulf recall all their national guard, after all there is no declaration of war, and have them and others get stuff done? It is hard to watch the feds try to block the locals from helping themselves. To heck with the feds, these people know what they need and they should start doing it regardless of what the feds say. As for funding, I think the states should start an escrow account with all the money they normally kick up to the feds from their citizens. Yet again another reason to get rid of the income tax and limit the feds to their constitutional duties. This would allow the states to have the necessary funds to react quickly and take actions locally. The people of the Gulf know what they need, and it is not just pouring cleaner sand over oil drenched beaches.
