Barack Obama - President/Vacationer & Chief
Barack Obama and the family like to vacation... They like to vacation a lot!
In fact, in the last 90 days, Obama felt it was appropriate to take three different vacations. One to Asheville, NC, one to Chicago and one to Maine. This in the midst of arguably the worst environmental catastrophe in United States history. If you include his many rounds of golf during this time, the guys free time borders on ridiculous.
If Bush had pulled this stunt, he would have been cut to shreds by the press. Of course, Bush had too much class and devotion to country to do so. He decided to stop playing golf in 2003 in deference to the soldiers fighting abroad. That would have been a nice tradition for Obama to continue, but then again, it would have cut into his golf.
At some point you have to decide if you are in the job for the country or your own amusement. I'm not sure that Obama has arrived at his decision just yet.
For this and so many other reasons (health care, financial reform, stimulus, etc.), Barack Obama is our Liberal Idiot of the Week.

I'm going to run for President one day... I'll play the female card and be elected solely for that reason, because like O I won't have the qualifications. Then once in office I will fly all around the world on the taxpayers dime. I will eat anything and everything making sure it's a photo op to show I'm 'just a regular person'. I'll completely ignore any and all major disasters that should arise; in fact, I'll just simply blame it on the guy who was in office before hand no matter how long he may have been out of office by then. Lastly, I'll be as un-American as possible.
That should about cover it all.... Great choice for idiot of the week Pundit. Though you may want to change week to year, decade, century.. you pick.
Why NOT go on vacation with real UNEMPLOYMENT at + 17%, the Health Bill Passed causing undue hardship on small and large companies , Gulf Coast Oil LEAK capped but resources needed to help clean up and no budget in place for 2011.A fine job for a COMMUNITY ORGANIZER who was elected President of the United States of America ( I still cannot get my head around on that fact ). I guess he needs time to ponder on his next step to DESTROY the U.S.A. !
Here is my suggestion: Send him on a permanent vacation in Nov. 2012.
No, no, no, for the love of all NO.. send him on vacation Nov 2010 via impeachment.
His BIG vacation will be in 2012...
Mark Levin has a "We will not rest" audio trailer of how many different times Obama has used "We will not rest" regarding jobs, the gulf, the economy, etc.
I guess the Obamster does not rest on his vacations.
