I hope Luntz is right. I know he's a conservative and tends to skew things to favor Republicans a bit, but I've got to believe what he's saying he pretty much on the money. It may be that only African-Americans and the hard core left stay with Democrats in large numbers in 2010 & 2012..
You know Harry is in trouble when he relies on Obama to campaign for him. And isn't it the ultimate irony that having "None of the Above" on the ballot could aid in retaining Democrats?! While I like the sentiment, it would be idiotic to vote that way as you unknowningly throw out your vote and might enable Harry to retain his Senate seat.
I really don't think Obama cares if Reid is re-elected. He is working hard on being re-elected himself in 2012. He is ramming through as much as possible with the Dem majority. Two years with a Republican Congress will give him excuses for everthing that happens.
He has the black vote, no matter what happens. He has the far left vote, no matter what. He has the Hispanic vote, no matter what. It all depends on how angry conservatives are in 2012.
Good comment horsebutt, but I am optimistic that real Americans (that doesn't include liberals in my book) are going to get rid of the cancer of the Obamao admn. Oblowme has the black vote, and the union vote and the 'progressive' vote no matter what. But his approval rate is reported as somewhere around 45%. If you eliminate blacks, liberals and social parasites (pardon the redundancy)from that stat, Zero's AR drops to the 30% range. the country is undergoing a sea-change, and new Obammy haters are created every day. Since his uberliberal policies are destined for failure, no matter how much the MSM tries to sugarcoat this incompetent's so called governance, things are not going to improve. Since Zero won't be on the ballot, most blacks will stay home in November, which leaves only the unions, trial lawyers and a divided hispanic vote. Bad news for dems- which is good news for America.
Chris and Chuck, I agree that things look good for conservatives in November. But don't forget that Axelrod, Emmanuel, and the others see that too. They will stop at nothing. As I said in another post, I think you will see them stir up hatred in blacks to get them to the polls. Same with Hispanics, they will be less divided by November. That's why you see Obama's crowd pampering them.

It looks really good for Republicans, but it never fails to amaze me how hard the media works to try to make this administration look good.

Well said Chris. I think you summed that up quite nicely.
