Just how many different things are going to bankrupt the country? It seems like an endless number (Welfare, Healthcare, Social Security, etc.).

Also need to stop paying people to pop out a new kid every year. That would help too.

If you pay people to do something you'll get more of it. So why is it a good idea to pay people who have no means to support themselves to have children out of wedlock, stay unmarried, and not work. And then pay them more to have more children. If the father's in the house the parents can't get married or they lose benefits. And we wonder why we produce thousands of kids each year who won't finish high school, have felonies by the time they're 21, have no prospects for productive employment, and end up in jail. Cut back on any of that and a Democrat will scream at you.

Memphis is the dirty sewer of america because of what you just posted. It used to be wonderful and clean, but then the democrats took over.

This film hit right at the heart of our problem, but before we can eliminate this cancer,
we must take care of the one in Washington. We first must reform our politicians who
serve the people and the government:

1) Term limits
2) Elect true Conservatives
3) Vote the Dumocrats out.
4) Obama muts be wee wee'd up and out..

Tuesday november 2nd, 2010 is (D-Day) decision day.....

@Sideburns

There should also be mandatory drug testing before anyone on welfare receives their handout.

Back in the day people used to be ashamed to be on welfare. So here in Texas (and I'm sure in most other states) the State went to a debit card system to alleviate the stigma of food stamps at the checkout counter.

All good thoughts, but I'd add one more that I've trumpeted before. You forfeit your right to vote if you're on government assistance. That would decimate the Democrat base more than anything you could do.

@ Chicken Shitte
I've been yelling that those on welfare should have to be drug tested for many years. I have no doubt that would eliminate a substantial portion of who receives it. Also, anyone with more than 2 kids while receiving welfare is automatically disqualified & steralized and the kids taken into the system. Besides, if I have to pee in a cup to get the job to pay for a person to sit on their lazy ass all day every day, they should have to do pee in a cup to receive assistance.

@ Pundit
Agree 100%. (side note: if you can't speak English, you can't vote as well)
