Chris Mathews is an unadulterated idiot who says outrageous things because he can. Yesterday he essentially called Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL) a racist because he dared suggest Elana Kagan may hold some of the same activist judging tendencies as her former boss and hero, the late Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall.
