Pew Research Civics Test
Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 4:21PM This is a great little civics test from the Pew Research Center. It's by no means a breeze, but it's information that those engaged and informed should know. That being said, I expect the FL Pundit regulars to wear this thing out. Below are the results of those that have taken the test and how many answers they got correct.
A few items of note:
- Nearly 50% got 4 or fewer questions correct (33%).
- Two thirds got six or few questions correct.

You're right, that was fairly difficult, but I was stunned at how poorly most people did on it. I got 10 for the record. Not bad.
Not to brag, but if you're recording scores, I was 12 for 12; just like my hero, FLPundit.
It would be humorous and enlightening for Jay Leno to give this for his "man on the street" interviews. I'm guessing they'd know the Colbert answer, but not much else.
Pundit i scored 11 out of 12 for 92% and after reading all the stats failed to see which one
i got incorrect, i just may have to do it again..
Yay, I was 12 for 12!!
These weren't as hard as a government/current events quiz
I took last year. That particular test had lots of early American
history questions, as well as those on this quiz.
Of course, my age---62----probably has something to do with it.
We semi-retired conservative Boomers have lots of time to keep
tabs on Obama & Co.
I got 11 of 12 - and I knew which one it was I got wrong too -
I was not sure of correct number of Senators required to break a filibuster.... (arrrgh)
The rest was a breeze. I know I should not be amazed at the results by the general public
- I guess mostly it is sad. It is the infiltration of our education system and the judicial system
that has destroyed this country.
9 right, and I knew 2 of the ones I missed right away. Just not paying attention, hehe.
Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner
I'm not bragging but I went 12 for 12
