Look At Geraldo Go!

I almost never agree with Geraldo, but he makes some very good points about the Rolling Stone reporter in the following discussion:

This segment at least partially addresses a concern that I've had regarding McChrystal's Rolling Stone interview: "What was he thinking?". McChrystal is obviously highly intelligent, as is his staff. They had to know what they were doing; but what were their motives? Geraldo wrote it off to frustration, and a "chummy" relationship with the reporter. I don't buy that. There has to be another angle, but I can't figure out what it is.
Anyone else with similar concerns??

I absolutely agree Bruce. These guys were not morons. They absolutely knew what they said would make it into that magazine. No question about it. That being said, I would think there was a more effective way of doing that than flushing your military career down the drain.

That's what is very hard to understand.

Totally agree with both of you guys. It just doesn't add up why the General would have done this. Heavy drinking and a loose tongue? That's the best I can come up with.
