I Need Your Help...
Sunday, June 20, 2010 at 7:48AM As you can see, FL Pundit added a new banner yesterday. Since I have no real background in graphic design, I asked the FL Pundit community to chime in with their thoughts. One person who chimed in happened to be a graphic designer who also volunteers on the campaign of John Dennis - the Republican candidate running against Nancy Pelosi in 140 days. Not bad, huh?
I have added the three banners that Liberty2010 created below (slightly reduced in size). I'd love to hear your thoughts about which you like best, so please chime in with your opinion if you would.

Those all look great, but I like the two with brighter colors personally.
I would like to see the image a little sharper and with a clearer red and blue on the shield.
#1 is my least favorite, agree the red and blue could stand out more. It's cool.
I like the more vibrant colors. Agree with the others about the shield, but either way, it looks great.
I'm no expert in graphic design, but I agree with Liberty that the muted image is better in that it doesn't overwhelm the title block below it.
If you go with one of the brigher images, you may need to enlarge the font to make it more prominant.
Sounds like Liberty knows her stuff and I'd give her comments priority over us amatures.
#'s 2 &3 draw attention to the eagle and they are very nice. But, using the eagle as a background to draw attention to, and make a statement about Fl Pundit, then definitely # 1.
Oh, and BTW, Liberty 2010, thank you for doing a service to our country by helping rid us of that eye-sore in SF.
It looks nice with the larger font, as Bruce suggested.
Thanks all - the larger font was one of my suggestion sin order to balance the image - it is spot on.

The campaign website is below, where you can go and learn about him and his positions. He is a Barry Goldwater, Ronald Reagan conservative and we won a tough primary by walking door to door and making thousands of calls. For a small group of 8-12 core volunteers it was a ton of work but we did it. San Francisco has NEVER seen a campaign like it.
We are also being filmed as part of a new television network and show called Running. The link to that and our volunteer site are below as well. If anyone can sign up and actually make phone calls for us in the future that would be terrific. Tell your friends and family - and yes send checks if you can.
We actually can beat her - but we have only about 120 days til absentee ballots go out so it will take a lot of work and we need a lot of help. We are already hard at work after a few days to recuperate from the Primary.

One last thing - Chuck I am sending you one more option - the FL should stay if possible - enlarged or not - in the dark wing area as it does not pop as well in the bright yellow - again - just my opinion...
I like the logo all in red best so far...

Thanks HB. With regard to the suit, I think a florescent orange would really make it hum.
agreed - hot orange - a red orange...mebbe with bright yellow flowers with bright blue touches....
