Peter Frampton has long been one of the most underrated guitarists around. In fact, many casual music fans consider him a singer, yet he made his name early on as an outstanding lead guitarist for bands such as Humble Pie. In the following performance, Frampton is puts his own spin on the outstanding Soundgarden tune Black Hole Sun.

I saw Frampton 2 years ago at Belterra Casino in Indiana. He did While My Guitar Weeps for an encore and absolutely shredded it.

Good pick, and glad that Peter is still around and performing. I figured the cut had to include his trademark whatchamacallit plastic tube wah-wah whatever.
