In fact, many casual music fans consider him a singer, yet he made his name early on as an outstanding lead guitarist for bands such as Humble Pie. I saw Frampton 2 years ago at Belterra Casino in Indiana. He did While My Guitar Weeps for an encore and absolutely shredded it.
