Cultural Recommendation (24)

Following is the great David Gilmour playing the classic Piink Floyd tune High Hopes with the backing of an outstanding string orchestra at Royal Albert Hall in 2002. This song really showcases the musicianship of Gilmour as he plays multiple instruments and sings. As an aside, the man on piano is Michael Kamen, a brilliant composer and musician himself who died of a heart attack less than a year after this performance while in London.

Gilmour is always fantastic. I'd never seen him play anything but the guitar. The guy is a virtuoso!
