Another Outstanding Example Of Why Liberals Are Killing This Nation
Thursday, May 6, 2010 at 10:28AM We are in the midst of a 45 year sustained attack by liberals on the Constitution and the American Way of life. Yesterday, served as just the latest example of how this country has changed for the worse because of it. This from Atlanta Constitution:
Live Oak High School students from left, Daniel Galli, Austin Carvalho, Matt Dariano and Dominic Maciel were sent home from school Wednesday because they were wearing American flag t-shirts on Cinco de Mayo.Five California high school students were kicked off their campus Wednesday for wearing t-shirts and bandannas emblazoned with American flags on Cinco de Mayo, a San Francisco television station reported.
The boys are students at Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill, a town southeast of San Jose, according to KNTV-TV.
One of the boys, Daniel Galli, told the station that he and four friends were sitting at a table eating brunch when a vice principal told two of them to remove American flag bandannas from around their heads, and the other three to turn their American flag t-shirts inside out. They refused to do so and were sent to the principal's office.
"They said we could wear it on any other day, but today is sensitive to Mexican-Americans because it's supposed to be their holiday so we were not allowed to wear it today," Galli told KNTV. The school has a large number of Mexican-American students, the NBC affiliate reported.
According to another of the boys, school administrators told them that if they went back to class wearing the shirts, they would be suspended for defiance. The boys went home to avoid suspension.
"I think it's absolutely ridiculous," Julie Fagerstrom, one of the boys' mother, said. "All they were doing was displaying their patriotic nature. They're expressing their individuality."
The TV station reported Thursday that the five boys and their parents met with officials from the Morgan Hill Unified School District Wednesday night, and the district officials released a statement saying they do not agree with the way school administrators handled the incident.
The boys were told they could return to school on Thursday, wearing the red, white and blue.
What is left unsaid is that a great number of the Mexican students at the school were wearing Mexican flag shirts and had their faces painted in the colors of Mexico (red, white & green). Can you imagine this occurring in the mid-50's? They would have kicked the Mexican kids out the door, not the American kids showing patriotism. It's an affront to our country to allow this type of behavior.
Here's a thought: Head back to Mexico if you want to sport that flag.

This really makes my blood boil. The idiots who sent these kids packing should be fired, but considering where they come from, they'll probably be given the key to the city.
What is amazing is that the school administration Wednesday evening met with the kids and parents and said that they did not agree with the vice-principal and that they kids could return to school without any punishment. Normally it takes a school district months to realize they made a mistake. At least the superintendent has some brains. Now they just need to punish this pinhead vice-principal.
What happens if I wear an American flag shirt on St. Patrick's Day? Am I being insensative to Irish-Americans? I better not wear an American flag shirt on Bastille Day. I don't want to piss off the French. Oh wait, I do like to piss off the French. Bad example.
I love to see this sort of thing happen. Conservatives are getting more and more angry. Liberals are not gonna' like it when the fuse burns down.
If little Herb was sent home by this traitor for wearing Old Glory, old Herb would need to teach him a little history lesson. Week One - classified ad about Revolutionary War memorabilia being sold at administrator's house. Week Two - ad on Craig's list about antique guns for sale at administrator's house. Week Three - Order Nazi memorabilia to be sent to administrator's home. Week Four - Civil War reenactment being held at administrator's house, advertise for volunteers.
We've got too many liberal PUSSIES in this country! Those kids should have stayed for the day and took the suspension. Then the parents of those kids could get together and sue those morons!! WTF is happening in our country?!! F**k OFF!!!!!!!!!!!
What this version of the story does not mention is that the Vice Principal's name is Miguel Rodriguez.... Did this factor in? You decide. As for me, I'm tired of being vilified for being white and being American. I honestly don't believe that ANY of these holidays exist in the states to celebrate the 'heritage' of any of the associated countries. There's a theme here; see if you can pick up on it....
1. Early spring - people drink booze, bare breasts and throw beads while hunting for plastic babies in cake
2. March 17th - people drink green beer, wear funny hats and sing silly songs
3. May 5th - Margaritas and Tacos for everyone!
4. October - Beer, Brats and Pretzels
Fact is, Americans just like to get wasted and will make ANY excuse to do it... I'm also pretty sure Chili's started the whole custom of celebrating Cinco de Mayo so they could sell more baby backs...It's only important to Mexicans from Puebla anyway.
