I fully agree. This is by far the best explanation of the various forms of government I've encountered and does so in a plain, commonsense manner.
The last two minutes are the best as they explain how a productive republic can transition to a democracy and then toward an oligarchy. And I think we all can agree that we're nearing that tipping point right now. Wealth redistribution is one of the symptoms as is emminent domain. I shudder every time I hear emminent domain being abused.

That's a great piece. I agree that every kid in this country should watch this, but I'd suggest multiple times each school year. They need to understand that Democracy is not the panacea.
