Liberal Idiot Of The Week

CHARLIE CRIST - GOP TURNCOAT

Charlie Crist was never a rock solid conservative, but he was far better than the typical Democrat. This week he sold the Republican Party, and more importantly, the conservative movement down the river by entering the Florida Senatorial race as an Independent.

Opinion is mixed on who this move hurts more - Republican candidate Marco Rubio or Democrat candidate Kendrick Meek - but it is absolutely the end of the road politically for Crist if he loses, as expected.

Crist will have limited fundraising ability and the crutch of having to constantly answer why he went back on his word after insisting he wouldn't run as an independent. On the other hand, he can now embrace his inner mushy moderate that he's had hidden in the closet for much of his political career.

For this and so much more, Charlie Crist is our Liberal Idiot of the Week.

Nice picture. I'd always heard rumors that he was a little fruity. Guess those rumors were right!

Good call on this one. He may not be hard left, but he is a sell-out. Shame on him.

Crist is the worst. By the way, he's dressed up like that character you put in the Archie comic book. Looks natural on him.

When Obama came down to Florida and 'Charlie the Tuna' did everything but kiss his a$$
and shine his shoes to me the bloom was off the rose for the Republican Governor....He
has always been a rhino but after he embraced Obamacare with such enthusiasm that his
days were just about over as a Republican politician and rightfully so....
He is now grasping for straws after his bold statement he would not switch parties just to
run in the primary, Charlie you are only dressing for the real tuna right now and the real
StarKist Tuna is Marco Rubio....

Love me some Charlie! I hope he helps kick that Rubio ass.

He looks like a busted down snow bunny. Pathetic.

Not an inspired choice, like last week, but the right one. I hold him in utter contempt for what he did.

Obviously he is the consumate politician. Getting elected is his only priority. His veto of teacher salary control showed his true colors. Hopefully he'll soon be only a memory on the political scene.

Arlen Spector the 2nd, but not as likable or credible (if that's possible)

Charlie Crist is the worst kind of person: An opportunist with no true beliefs, loyalty or moral compass. He know he has no chance to win in November. He is just doing this because he feels that the Republican Party is turning his back on him, so now he is going to throw the election, and this crucial Senate seat, to the Democrats. Kind of like a spoiled little boy that no one wants to play with, so he is taking his ball and going home.

By the way, money is not the real issue. He will still have the pulpit of the Governor's office to reach the people of Florida. Also, his wife is LOADED! He'll be able to fall back on her millions to offset his loss of Republican contributions.

There's only one thing worse than a RINO like Christ, is one not to bow out gracefully and muck-up a race by going Independent, like the big baby that he is. A typical "political hack" move; worrying only about himself and his political aspirations. For that alone, I hope he gets his A$$ kicked!
