Saturday, April 3, 2010 at 1:05PM (FLP Opinion) - The Democrat leadership in Congress has been caught in yet another massive deception. What did they do you ask? They estimated the financial impact of health care legislation on the state of Texas to be $1.4 billion the first ten years that the legislation is in place. That's only off $25.6 billion according the Texas HHSC Commissioner Tom Suehs.
Suehs estimates that health care reform will cost the State of Texas 20 times more than what had been projected by Congressional Democrats & the CBO. Suehs estimates that Medicaid expansion to roughly 2.1 million Texans, plus heightened reimbursement rates for primary care physicians, will cost Texas over $27 billion over a ten-year span.
We all knew that Democrats were willing to do or say anything to get the health care noose around our necks, but to underestimate the cost of HC legislation by a multiple of twenty? At what point does this become criminal and do people start heading to the jail? This is beyond outrageous, but not unexpected in the least. We're dealing with lying, cheating, stealing and generally despicable human beings after all. You know, elected Democrats.
Who would have thought anyone could make Bernie Madoff look like Ward Cleaver by comparison.

How can these scumbags get away with this type of corruption. I think it will catch up with them long term. Of course, the media will do everything in their power to cover up and hide this kind of information. You definitely won't find it on MSNBC or in the NY Times.
Some people believe honesty is the best policy, others believe the ends justify the means. Elect the former, reomve the latter from office.

I can't recall anyone in my family or my friends acussing any liberal Democrat of being
smart.......their latest misguided directions just proves the point.....
