It just keeps getting worse. The charts don't lie. Nowhere from Obama to hide.

Oh, sorry, I forgot. They can hide behind the media.

.....29% income growth
.....242% federal spending

Would this not be easy to understand if the figures was just reversed ? We don't have to ask
which party controls our government at this date and time...

......At this rate we got about two more years before America files bankruptcy and its not
" Heros" Chapter twelve ' upon this rock.'

Now I ask you ? 'please choose the type of Politician you won't to remove your testicals.'

I think something is wrong with this chart. Hard to believe that median income in 1970 was $39K. I entered the workforce in 1971 and was making around $10,000 a year and was on top of the world. Rent was $150/month. I can't believe I was making only 25% of the median income.

Bruce, you're absolutely right that $39K was not the median income in 1970, but the chart says 'inflation adjusted', so I think that's where the disparity is. I can't imagine Heritage would allow a chart out the door with a mistake that glaring.

Buy votes with other people's money. It's the easiest, most unoriginal, uncreative way to get elected and stay there. It requires no character, backbone, or leadership. That's what we've got in our political class today with a very few exceptions. Vote them out.

CWC: Thanks for pointing that out (inflation adjusted) ... it didn't register with me. That makes a lot more sense. So median income is now about $25/hr?? Seems high to me.
