I'm taking a different approach to the award this week. Typically, I name a politician or media type as the award winner. However, this week something happened that was so disgusting that I could not help but name the individual who perpetrated the act the Liberal Idiot of the Week.
Here's the story from the AP:
A New Jersey man is facing charges after police say he intentionally vomited on an 11-year-old girl and her father in the stands during a Phillies game.
Twenty-one-year-old Matthew Clemmens, of Cherry Hill, N.J., was arraigned Friday on charges stemming from his behavior at Wednesday night's Phillies-Nationals game.
Police say Clemmens made himself vomit on an off-duty police captain and his daughter after a companion was kicked out for unruly behavior.
Easton police Capt. Michael Vangelo says he saw Clemmens put his fingers down his throat. Philadelphia police say Clemmens also punched Vangelo and vomited on an arresting officer.
Clemens was being held on $36,000 bail on three complaints with charges including simple assault and harassment. His listed phone number is disconnected.
You may ask, how can I name this moron the LIOTW if I have no proof he's a liberal? Simple. I just don't believe a conservative would do something so revolting. The move has union thug written all over it.
At least someone got a good shot off on him - that black eye indicates he got popped good - hopefully by the father of the little girl.
For this reason, scumbag Mathew Clemmens is our Liberal Idiot of the Week.

I might have killed him if he did that to my kid. I would have at least tried. Philadelphia fans have always taken great pride in being known as the worst fans in sport, but this is so far beyond the pale it's unreal.
