Could It Be Any More Clear?

Picked this story up from TrippsTake. If you ever wanted proof that liberal, big government policies are a failure and conservative, small government policies are a success, look no further than the following chart that compares California to Texas in a number of areas:

If I were the Republicans, I would determine the most effective way to position this information to the American public and beat them over the head with it in ads for the next 2.75 years. The contrast is stark and impactful. Use it.

I really liked the part about the legislature meeting only 90 days every other year. (Small correction, this really is a maximum of 140 days, not 90).

Anyway, there is no doubt that Texas has it all over California. Nonetheless, it is not without its problems: http://www.reporternews.com/news/2010/mar/08/budget-shortfall-predicted-to-be-11b/

This really is a great snapshot of the difference between liberal and conservative governance.

A teacher in Texas is making $41,744 an hour now?!?! Looks like I chose the wrong career path!
