Traitor Or Patriot?
Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 12:41PM In honor of the health care bill that was signed into law yesterday, I'd like to introduce a new FL Pundit game. It will be the easiest game that FL Pundit has ever sanctioned. Like Conservative or Liberal, I'll show the photo of a Congressperson and you determine if the person in the photo is a traitor or patriot. To aid you in your decision, following is the oath that all Congresspersons are required to take upon entering office.
I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.
Based on that, is she a Traitor or a Patriot?

She should be tried for treason. A traitor plain and simple.
Under no circumstances could she be considered a patriot - even by those on the Left. They don't like the country as it is anyway, so they couldn't be considered patriots. She's a traitor if there ever was one.

TRAITOR. Did you hear her talking about the healtcare bill fitting with the founding father's vision of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness? She also said this would spur economic activity and jobs. She must not realize she's spurring business closings or layoffs. Surely she heard the CEO of Caterpillar say this would cost his company $100 million the first year, that will spur some activity. She looks down on us like we're her pets, I bet she's got a poodle, and I bet it gets better health care and eats better than us. 11% approval rating, nuff said.

She's a traitor. No doubt about it. Love how you included the oath. What more do you need to see to prove she is one? Done deal in my view.
Methinks that the order of succession needs to be adjusted when the representative from a single district is third in line to the presidency. Especially when that district is in the land of fruits and nuts.
Granted, she was elected by the peers in her party, but c'mon. There has to be a better way.
