What People Are Saying

Just finished reading an article at The Hill about how IRS powers in the new health care bill are vastly expanded. To be precise, they're expanded to the point they will need to add 17,000 employees to fulfill their new heavy-handed obligations. Of course, our despicable free and unfair press hasn't shared this fact with the masses, so most people are unaware of pending reality. Following is a comment from someone who read the same article:

Our politicians will regret this crap. Here we have a mountain of arrogance, fully charged with incompetence. An ideological tool to force the people to take a medicine they do not wish to take. But it's for our own good, and government sure knows what's good for the people, right? The heavy hand of this government is no longer one that helps the people. This is the back of the hand that punishes the people! Next thing you know we'll be told that we're lucky to have such a caring government! Where other nations have heard this BS before? This is how government creates enemies out of the people. This is how democracy collapses.

Well said Picomanning. Very well said.

17,000 additional IRS agents! Just more ammunition for the FairTax approach; of course if we had the FairTax, there would be no way to finance this monstrosity of a health care bill.
I only wish that a competent accounting firm were allowed to audit it, rather than requiring the CBO to accept the premises provided by the Democrats. The blatant double counting is rampant, as Paul Ryan continues to point out. And of course there is the part where you pay for 10 years of coverage and only get about half that much.
