In 2003, the Allman Brothers released the One Way Out DVD from their run at the Beacon Theater in NYC. As part of that DVD, Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks played an impromptu duo of a song called Old Friend. As you will see, it really showcases their greatness in a very unique setting.

I swear, you read my mind! After purchasing "Hittin' the Note", I searched for a video of my favorite cut "Old Friend" from this album and found this same video on YouTube.
Before seeing the video, I visualized that both Warren and Derek were playing dobros and was quite surprised that they were "traditional" acoustics.
