Cultural Recommendation (7)
Friday, March 12, 2010 at 10:48PM I have always liked the Rolling Stones, but I was never a huge fan until recently. I knew them for their many well known hits, but really nothing beyond that. That changed when I purchased a rock music almanac a few years back that suggested the four greatest rock albums ever released consecutively were from the Rolling Stones starting with Beggars Banquet (68), Let It Bleed (69), Sticky Fingers (71) and Exile on Main Street (72). The reviews of those albums referenced several songs I was only vaguely familiar with. The following song (Loving Cup from Exile on Main Street) is a great representation of the Stones at the height of their powers.

Absolutely classic song. Never seen the video before.
Great song, followed Sir Mick and the Stones all through the 60s and up to the
80's...These young men raked havoc on the music industry and sent it upward
into a whirlwind of success by standards many emulated for years to come...
