What Does 14 Months Of Communistic Style Governance Beget?

Poll numbers like this from Gallup:

And this from Rasmussen Reports:

And this also from Rasmussen:

Please note, a key difference in the Rasmussen and Gallup numbers is that Rasmussen polls likely voters. Gallup polls adults. History shows that the polling of likely voters is a far my reliable barometer of ones political standing.

You made my day. Just to see it widens my smile.

You got to have attitude before you get altitude:
I don't know how i got over the hill without getting to the top...
President Obama was getting ready to make his first skydive,a ten second delay
from 2000 feet, the jumpmaster sees he's nervous and says dont worry..Just get
out there, arch, count to ten and pull your main ripcord. If there is a problem with
the main chute you know you have a reserve..When you land Scott Brown will be
there in his truck to take you back to the airfield..Obama exits the plane, arches and
pulls, nothing happens..He pulls his reserve ripcord and a small sign with Hope and
Change written on it flys out...He's falling faster and faster, close to terminal, looks
at the ground and says, "Great, i bet that f***ing Scott Brown with his truck wont be
ther either."

I hope they drop and keep on dropping. This communist has earned it.

What is most troubling in the numbers shown is that there are still over 20% of likely voters that continue to "strongly approve" Obama. I'm guessing that number has pretty much hit bottom, because if they still strongly approve him now, then obviously he can do no wrong in their eyes, no matter what.
On the other hand, the strongly disapprove has about 30 percentage points of headroom, and I would forsee it capable of growing to a total of 55% or so. I'm sure that is record breaking territory.

No question about that Bruce - he has room to grow! I'm sure that 20% is a mix of the hard-left and people who just don't pay attention (20 - 29 year-olds). At the rate he is going, these numbers will get far worse. Also, the only truly legitimate poll in my view is one that polls "likely voters" only. That said, the Rasmussen polls tend to be more accurate.

Bruce is right about the 20% number being the bottom. And FL Pundit is right about that 20% being made up of hard-left and young people who are interested in politics only when there is a candidate who allows them to express their rebellion against "the old White Men".

The question is, how far up will that number go when we get closer to the 2012 election? We can feel good about this November, but when their team goes into a full court press they are a strong force.

I hope I am wrong but I don't think any of us can comprehend what measures they will take to keep Obama in office. We can expect tons of worship pieces from the media. Hollywood will be out in full force. College professors will forget about teaching and will indoctrinate students, many of whom were not old enough to vote last time.

There will be a reluctance on the part of conservative candidates to run, knowing how their entire lives will be scrutinized. The Obama team will revise the Republican candidate's record and when the msm gets through with him, he will even believe it himself. And when they revise the accomplishments of the Obama first term, even the skinheads may vote for him.

I may be too pessimistic here, but I know that there are blacks in my area who would give their lives to keep a black man in the White House. When Obama's record is perfected by the press, anyone speaking against him will become a racist bigot. You saw what happened in the last election, even the Clintons were caught with their heads spinning.

Add to the mix, voter intimidation, who's going to stop them? They know they will not be prosecuted.

I apologize for all the negativism, but the good news is, if Paul Ryan has stones of steel, a sparkling clean background, and decides to run, I think he can beat Obama.

I agree with you HB. I think Ryan could beat him. Maybe Romney too, but you never know.
