The Turd Ferguson Comment of the Week will go to the most biting, yet humorous comment of the week. This is not an award for top analysis; this is about a remark that gets a laugh at the expense of the liberal elite.
With that said, here is the winner and runner up for the past week:
WINNER: Herb Tarlek
Herb came with a great description of the photo I posted for "What Does Obama Have In Common With These Empty Headed Morons?"
"Olby must have found his teeth at a nucleur reactor and Pelosi looks like she was just blinded by them. The sound of Joy Behar's voice makes my dog howl, kind of like fingernails on a chalkboard, but not as pleasant. Rachel Maddow looks like Buddy Holly and Billie Jean King's love child. Al Gore lied and got rich while people froze. Among this crew Oprah seems like a beacon of light."
RUNNER-UP: Horsebutt
A very solid effort by Horsebutt in his first week on FL Pundit. HB came with several hilarious comments, including one about Axelrod that was priceless. However, decorum and my wife prevented me from officially acknowledging it. That being said, this comment to the post "Cookie Monster Now Leading Somali Pirates" was impressive as well:
"Actually they had a contest over at PBS to see who got to be in the picture. Cookie Monster came in second. The winner, Bill Moyers, was horrified to find out the pirates owned guns, so he took the second place prize - a hot tub soak with Bert and Ernie."

Horsebutt, congrats to you as well. You wrote several posts that had me laughing out loud. The one Axelrod comment Pundit referred to was Hall-of-Fame worthy.

Two great comments, but I thought the comment Horsebutt made about Axelrod was a lock. I literally cried I laughed so hard.

I'm humbled by this recognition. Just goes to show you can achieve anything with hard work and determination. Must admit I believed Horsebutt was the favorite among the judging committee. Thanks to Turd and the rest of you for setting the bar high.
