Clearly, it is all Bush's fault. Get a load of the "gap"! Isn't it clear that spending, not revenue, is the problem? Time for serious cost/benefit analysis of all programs, including entitlements. I'm retired, but not yet elgible for social security. I seriously questioned if I'd ever be able to recieve social security and it is clear that something must be done about it sooner rather than later. Sombody with some guts has to step up and say enough is enough. It was a ponzi scheme all along. Time for means testing for it and all the other entitlement programs. But ... if they seriously cut them, they have to do so for all the other mindless government programs as well.
Does everyone understand that this spending will never end. We have reached the point where nobody can comprehend these numbers, and nobody is going to give up their entitlements.
