Gordon Brown Is A Socialist Imbecile
Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 6:06PM (FLP Opinion by JAR) - Under current leadership in the United States and Britain, government has dramatically increased spending, deficits, income redistribution, and regulation. Our friends across the pond are being led to the extreme left by their Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, just as we in the U.S. are by Barrack Obama. While he may not have the ego and narcissism of our President, he is every bit as liberal and his agenda every bit as socialist.
British Prime Minister Gordon BrownApparently Mr. Brown is beginning a new election campaign with the slogan "A Future Fair For All", due to be officially unveiled today. He was quoted as uttering the following blather, "Change is a process, future is a destination. People want a sense of hope, possibility and pride about Britain.” Unfortunately, the “change” and “destination” he’s selling is just as bad as the agenda the Obama Administration is trying to advance here.
Think about the slogan “A Future Fair For All” and what it means when used by a liberal politician. It means more government programs and more income redistribution which must be financed by bigger deficits and higher taxes. Ultimately this reduces economic growth and opportunity. Without the creation of wealth the economic engine which generates government tax revenues and jobs is crippled.
To liberals, this little inconvenient fact is not as important as “fairness”. Remember when Obama said he'd support higher capital gains tax rates, even though they have been proven to reduce tax revenues time and again? He claimed then that it was an issue of “fairness".
This comment alone should disqualify him from public office.
This talk about "fairness” involves the government determining equitable distribution of capital. Forget for the moment the perverse incentives, conflicts of interest and historical suffering related to this type of policy. Further, when you consider that the average IQ is 100, that means half of the population is below average. Liberals believe that for these people being wards of the state dependent on what the government will provide for their subsistence. Using Gordon Brown’s words, their "hope, possibility and pride”. After all, this class of people is inferior and could never get into the proper educational institutions for the proper education.
They're morons and morons must be cared for.
Conservatives would rather have the individuals determine the equitable distribution of capital. For one thing, this creates more capital as opposed to government who can only destroy it. When the free market determines the distribution of capital, the behaviors rewarded are effort, persistence, and responsibility. Not intelligence and education. The American dream used to be that a person with less intelligence and less education could be successful if they worked hard, were persistent, and responsible. They could have their own business as electricians, carpet cleaners, florists, bar owners, etc. That’s fairness. That’s hope and possibility.
Liberal politicians like Obama and Brown are killing hope and possibility. Their policies are devastating to small business and the economy. Their idea of “fairness” is a cancer on the human spirit and is decidedly unfair.
I only hope the election in Britain sends a clear message that liberalism and socialism are on the wane, because Gordon Brown deserves nothing less than the thrashing he is projected to take.

Well said. Obama and Brown are two peas in a pod.
I would concur with your analysis. They both suck - real bad.
Mr. Brown you may have a rude awaking in the form of one Mr. Daniel Hannon,a real conservative
member of the Europeon Eastern Parliament...He will call you out, just like he called out "America's new liberal Sugga Daddy "..Just look at what Barry is trying to do and what the American people are saying, not no, but hell no.. You can join the ranks of Barry in the unemployment line sooner then you
two nut jobs may evision....
I like the angle. Gordon Brown and his ideological type are staring doom in the face. They are low-down, dirty dogs and most everyone is figuring it out.
Gordon Brown is a disgrace and is absolutely despised in many parts of Britain. However, the ingrate muslim community is hugely supportive of his re-election bid. If for no other reason, that would be enough for me to vote for the Torie (conservative) candidate.
