The Case For Profiling From A Historical Perspective

Got the idea for this post from an email a buddy sent me.

A lot of Americans have become so insulated from reality that they won't even consider profiling. However, a quick review of historical events illustrates just how foolish that position is.

Take a second to review the following truncated list and then ask yourself if the idea of profiling has any credence. By the way, the answer to all of the questions is the same: A muslim male(s) between the ages of 17 & 45.

  1. In 1968 Bobby Kennedy was shot and killed by?
  2. In 1972 at the Munich Olympics numerous athletes were massacred by?
  3. In 1979 the US embassy in Iran was taken over by?
  4. In the 80's several Americans were kidnapped in Lebanon by?
  5. In 1983 the Marine barracks in Beirut was blown up and nearly 300 killed by?
  6. In 1985 the cruise ship Achille Lauro was hijacked and an American killed by?
  7. In 1985 TWA flight 847 was hijacked and a US serviceman murdered by?
  8. In 1988 Pan Am Flight 103 was bombed by?
  9. In 1993 the World Trade Center was bombed the first time by?
  10. In 1998 the US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania were bombed by?
  11. In 2001 four airliners were hijacked and used to kill thousands of by?
  12. In 2002 the United States fought a war in Afghanistan against?
  13. In 2002 reporter Daniel Pearl was kidnapped and murdered by?
  14. In 2009 two service recruiters were killed in their Arkansas office by?
  15. In 2009 thirteen people were murdered in cold blood at Fort Hood by?
  16. In 2009 a passenger jet carrying hundreds was almost blown up by?

Still think profiling is unnecessary or racist?

If so, you're likely beyond all help.

This really does put it all in perspective. It shows the idiocy of the liberal argument in a very direct way.

Not suprised. Won't be surprised either when the Left continues to poo-poo the idea.
