We Should Profile Airline Passengers Most Likely To Blow Up Planes
Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at 4:31PM (FLP Opinion) - All Muslims are not terrorists, but virtually all terrorists are Muslims.
That point is inarguable.
With that being an indisputable truth, how can anyone justify not randomly profiling Muslim airline passengers in this country?
Simple. The death wish known as political correctness. While we're patting down Grandma and Junior, Abdul is walking onto the airplane with the latest in bomb technology because we dare not offend him.
The next time you're having a conversation with some liberal loon about this topic, ask them what is more important to them. Doing everything we can to protect the safety and security of the flying public or not offending Muslims?
Common sense dictates we do the former; the disease known as liberalism would demand the latter.
Common sense and liberalism clearly aren't compatible.

It defies all logic the way we do business in this country. We'd rather lose a city than offend a Muslim.
There is no doubt that political correctness kills ie Fort Hood, we have now made it easier for jihadists to get on a airplane, by trying to make sure that no one be stuck with the stigma of being a racist. Cant find the link but there is a good article at pajamas media that explains how the Israelis work on airplane security that is much faster and safer. It can and should be done, sadly it may take a very horrible atrocity to make our gov't realize that.
It is a horrible feeling to get on an airplane not knowing if this may be your last flight...what is one to do and say to a bunch of idiots in Washington that really don't care what we say
about flying or fearing for our family and all americans safety.....
One thing is certain, come this november we can vote these obnoxious morons out

This is a bit too simplistic. It goes beyond offending, it is about violating rights. Beyond that, it has zero chance of becoming law. Remember, we're the Unites States, not the old Soviet Union.
So ... common sense works in the old USSR but isn't in play in the US? The terrorists took away our "rights". What about my "right" of safety on flights?
I don't know why conservatives get so wrapped up in the terrorism debate. The total number of Americans affected in any meaningful way by terrorist attacks pales in comparison to the number that suffer due to a lack of health care. To put things in perspective, last year far more Americans died due to suspected autoerotic asphyxiation (choking yourself while masturbating, for those who aren't aware) than terrorism--if you're going to get so upset about the number of people dying in America due to terrorist attacks, save some indignation for the people who didn't bite the orange quickly enough.

The reason conservatives get so worked up is because these militant whack jobs are eventually going to do something far worse than bring down a plane - like detonate a nuclear device on our own soil. Now I'm no rocket scientist, but I'm assuming that would kill a heck of a lot more people than died whipping skippy last year.
