Though I prefer not to have the same winner in back to back weeks, it's impossible to not honor Barack "Left of Earth" Obama again for his contributions to liberal idiocy. His State of the Union address was so full of lies and deceptions that it could likely qualify for a Pulitzer in the fiction category. It contributed mightily to his second consecutive award.
What was most astounding about the speech was his attack on the Supreme Court. According to Charles Krauthammer, that breach of etiquette was unprecedented. On top of that, he wasn't even correct in the assertion he was making - what a stunner! When a Supreme Court Justice has to call you out, you know you're a well-oiled, BS'ing machine.
Additionally, the guy is clearly incapable of admitting his mistakes and he can't get enough of blaming others - two traits most Americans find reprehensible. If he would have simply admitted his overreaching on health care and cap & trade, his poll numbers would have shot up ten points overnight. That fact is surely not lost on him, but as a true-believing Marxist he marches ahead with an agenda that the public clearly finds unappealing.
I have a feeling this guy will win so many LIOTW awards that we'll need to create a new category to describe his tenure in office. The word "Suck" just doesn't capture the full essence of his administrations awfulness.
