Tebow Getting Heat From NAG Skanks

Tim Tebow and his mother will appear in a pro-life television commercial scheduled to air during the Super Bowl next month. Normally an athlete appearing in commercial wouldn't be a big deal, however, Tim Tebow apparently has the unmitigated gaul to suggest that abortion may not be the best option for women.

Why? Well, his mother was strongly encouraged by her doctors to abort him due to complications. She obviously didn't and he went on to win the Heisman Trophy and two national championships at the University of Florida.

Not bad for a guy who was deemed unworthy of birth.

The NAGS (National Organization for Women) are up in arms about this and have demanded that CBS ban the ad, which the network has already approved. They claim the ad is offensive and demeaning to women. Really? What is more offensive and demeaning? Tim Tebow and his mother suggesting that women should think twice before aborting a child, or a child being aborted?

Maybe I'm crazy, but free speech seems far less offensive and demeaning than than ending the life of a child.

I saw one of the Nags being interview about this last night. The typical hardcore, Butch type that looks like she eats nails for breakfast.

Tebow is a great example to others. The left absolutely hates people with any moral fiber, and Tebow has it in spades.

I'm really surprised CBS accepted it. Evidently, in this case, money was more important than their left-wing agenda.

Bruce, from what I know, they are off on their ad sales projections and needed the money. Otherwise, no chance.

We need more Tebow's in the sports arenas.

If these woman's groups are so outraged how about the pony 2.5 million and buy an ad themselves. Maybe it is because these groups are marginal at best in this country and only the media actually takes them seriously.

Only a party of the left wing liberals would take one of the finest football players to come out
off any college and rag him for standing up for the rights of a human being...God's children
knows that LIFE begains at conception and abortion takes this LIFE away..No civilized person
can permit killing of a unborn human life...
Mr. Tebow, "you" have a beautiful Heart and in God's eyes will be blessed with kindness...
"Go Gators".

Impressive GeorgaDawg! A "Go Gators" from a "Bulldawg".
Tebow is certainly a special individual and I heartly agree with your convictions.
