The Power Of Fox News

Just took this off the Drudge Report. Look at the utter and complete domination Fox News has over their competition - if you can call it that:

CABLE NEWS RACE
1/19/2010
ELECTION NIGHT

FOXNEWS HANNITY 6,809,000
FOXNEWS GRETA 6,399,000
FOXNEWS O'REILLY 5,228,000
FOXNEWS BECK 3,446,000
FOXNEWS BAIER 3,338,000
FOXNEWS SHEP 3,241,000
CNN KING 1,681,000
CNN COOPER 1,508,000
CNN BROWN 1,308,000
MSNBC OLBERMANN 1,274,000
MSNBC MADDOW 1,236,000
CNN BLITZER 1,135,000
CNNHN BEHAR 845,000
MSNBC HARDBALL 798,000

To put this in perspective, the viewership for Hannity and Greta was greater than the total viewership for all of the shows that aired on either CNN or MSNBC on election night.

This further illustrates what an idiotic move it was for Obama to pick a fight with Fox News. It's kind of like putting your money on Earl's corner grocery store to put Super Walmart out of business.

Is it me, or are liberals somewhat slow on the uptake?

The liberal press has two years invested in President Obonzo, they want jump ship now and some have propped him up to the point they may never recover from the under- belly of the news..Their one big mistake was to think they could fool all the American people that this clown was for real...
I can't wait until the day, we can say, Welcome to the Whitehouse Madame President......

I'd be excited to hear welcome to the White House President Captain Kangaroo. Anything is better than this.

Rest in peace LSM. What surprises me the most is that there are still over one million willing to watch Olbermann or almost 800,000 watching Hardball.

Bruce its not suprising at all. First of all, most of the Conservatives I know actually watched Olbermann and Hardball election night. We all knew what was going to happen I think only the libs didnt have a clue (like always).

Let me tell you, it was awesome watching them that night. It was the first time I've ever watched them and had a smile from ear to ear.

Their ratings were from Conservatives watching them whine and cry about the results and wonder why? Look at their ratings every other night, 800k - 900k. They almost never have over a million viewers.

I honestly think that the people that do watch it, they are watching for shock value. I really dont think very many people actually believe the crap thats coming out of their mouth.

Bruce and Seal, you guys are dead on. The MSNBC numbers are never that high. Those numbers were a result of conservatives wanting to see Mathews, Olbermann and Maddow melt down on camera.
