The Media Is The Devil

(FLP Opinion) - The people of America have been screaming for the better part of a year for Democrats in Congress and the President to shift gears on health care. They have blatantly ignored this request time and again.
The audacity of this would be stunning, if it hadn't become so common.
But why the arrogance? What makes them think they can thumb their collective noses at the public and get away with it?
Easy. The corrupt mainstream media.
They know this group of fools is in their corner no matter what they do, and will help bail them out of virtually any situation by re-framing the debate to favor the Left. With that knowledge, they are able to operate in a manner that is completely different from Republicans.
Think about it, Nancy Pelosi is able to lie to your face almost daily without fear of reprisal from the general press. She has full confidence they will cover up, ignore or gloss over any misleading statements she makes.
This is one of the primary reasons Democrats have worked so hard to discredit Fox News. They know FNC is an independent news organization and if considered credible by the general public, could lead to various inconvenient truths being made public. However, if they are considered simply shills for the GOP, these "truths" would be considered rubbish and dismissed by the public.
It's a vicious cycle that Democrats have effectively ridden to the White House and huge majorities in the Congress. The sooner people realize this, the quicker we can take our country back from these socialist thugs.
Until that changes, the Left will have a significant built in advantage against the Right.
You see, sometimes cheaters do win.

The funny thing is, the media was supposed to be the protector of freedom, now they are assisting one party in eliminating it.
You are 100% correct Pundit and Mitch. I have long believed the media is the enemy of my personal freedom. They have made their bed with thug commies.
Cheaters is exactly what they are and always have been. They can't win any other way.
I have been saying for years that the candidate that runs against the media will win. The majority of people in this country do not trust them, but they have no way to change them - just the same situation they face with the Democrats. Running on this issue woudl unleash a huge wave of anger and frustration that a skillfull candidate could ride to victory.
The Press in America has no credibility. Blogs like FL Pundit and sites like Worldnet Daily, the Drudge Report, Real Clear Politics and Fox News are the new media. The rest are in bed with the liberals and bias their reporting to suit liberal interests. There is no objectivity in the mainstream media. Likewise, political correctness hamstrings the ability of some reporters to state the truth.
Right on! The Liberal Media tells the ignorant masses what they should "know". It is funny how missteps are glossed over by the democrats. Harry Reid is the case study. He got a free pass for his remarks (although right on). FNC rocks. I don't go to cnn.com because everything is biased. keep up the good work!
