Truly A Liberals Worst Nightmare

Lt. Col. Allen West(FLP Opinion) - Lt. Col. Allen West is running for Congress in Florida’s 22nd District, and calls himself a liberals worst nightmare. After you watch the accompanying video you will understand why.
While serving in Iraq in 2003, West got into hot water for using tactics that were deemed extreme against a terrorist who had information on planned attacks against US servicemen. When the scoundrel wouldn't cooperate, West gave him a little additional incentive to speak by firing his pistol near the terrorists head - a la Jack Bauer. This act was frowned upon by the mamby-pamby types and Lt. Col. West subsequently retired from the military with full benefits.
West has become a YouTube sensation for his emotional, fiery speeches against what he sees as a tyrannical government that has well overstepped its bounds. Take five minutes and watch this speech and you'll see why he is truly a rising Conservative star.

This guy is outstanding. Heard him on a talk show last week and he was very passionate and articulate. The anti-Obama.

This guy is awesome. The press will attack him unmercifully if he wins his House race. This really is their worst nightmare.
If he gains to much steam we can expect the MSM to start in on what happened in Iraq with the usual this isn't what our country was founded upon. Is anyone else tired of the left always pulling that card out to talk about things like torture profiling and when we go to war, yet the second amendment and the right to not be forced to buy health insurance are because the constitution is an ever changing document that must change with the times.
Boss, that is exactly where the media will go, but the notion that "this country wasn't founded on that" is a complete farce (as you know). I don't think we became the strongest country on the planet by being a bunch of mamby-pambys. Frankly, if you're keeping score, we killed a lot more of the enemy than they killed of us.
Had these idiots in the press been around for D-Day, they'd have tipped off the Germans and we'd have lost the war. The media is the primary enemy of this country - above even Democrats. Why? Because Democrats could not get away with the stuff they do if it weren't for the lying sacks of dung in the media.
i am old enough to remember when allen west could not buy a home, get a job or enter th armed services except as a low paid, low ranking position. it was the government that stepped in the and made these discriminatory practices illegal. yes, i am a liberal and, as such, i supported these laws. as a liberal i still support laws to protect the rights of the unfortunate. health care is a right and not a privilege, just as blacks have the right to be able to buy homes they can afford, get an education to the extent of their abilities, get a job for which they are qualified and rise to the extent of their aspirations and abilities. you are where you are because of us liberals that saw the injustice and helped to change your life.

I think he's great. He's genuine. He isn't perfect (he wasn't a Marine Officer), but his humanity and common sense will attract a lot of people. I wish him luck and great fortune in my birth state of Florida and the U.S. Congress.
According to Lt Col. Allen West we live under a tyranical government and compares it to the revolution of 1776? There is a big defference between having a Democratically elected government and living under the subjugation of a king. Is he opposed to everyone having the right to own a home and everyone having the right to Health coverage? Does he believe only the privilaged class shuold have these rights? Please tell me when you listen to this stuff you are thinking critically about what he is saying. I understand a persons opposition to the Liberal point of view but it gets carried away at times.
