Comcast Kisses the Ring
Sunday, December 6, 2009 at 8:14PM (FLP Opinion) - Top brass at Comcast, the cable giant looking to buy a majority stake in NBC Universal, donated large sums of money to presidential candidate Barack Obama and Democrats in recent years The Hill reported Saturday.

Specifically, Comcast CEO Brian Roberts has made more than $76,000 in contributions to Democrats since 2006, compared to just over $13,000 to Republicans. Comcast VP and chief lobbyist David Cohen has made roughly $180,000 in contributions to Dems during the same period, versus $12,000 to Republicans.
Additionally, Cohen helped raise more than $6,000,000 for Obama's election campaign.
Beyond this, Roberts sent a letter to Obama on Thursday endorsing healthcare reform legislation currently before Congress.
Add it all up, and the media giant looking to buy a 51 percent stake in NBC Universal has some strong ties to the White House and the Democrat Party.
For those conservatives who thought change may be coming to MSNBC, think again.

Not at all surprised. Very sad.
NBC is known to be the most liberal of media outlets...it has one foot in communism already so the "kissing of the a**s" --or kissing of the ring--isn't surprising.
Well said Ada. NBC is biased propaganda arm of the federal government.
