Democrats Are Very Afraid

(FLP Opinion) - Capitol Hill Democrats were reportedly hit square in the face this week by a reality that many have been trying to ignore.
James Carville, the well-known Democrat Strategist, went to the Hill to report on new polling numbers his firm had commissioned.
The results?
Democrats are going to get killed in the 2010 elections unless they can quickly turn the economy around.
While Hill Democrats long ago accepted that they were going to lose seats in the 2010 mid-term, they were reportedly taken aback at just how much public sentiment had turned against them. According Byron York of the Washington Examiner, there was not a bright spot to be found anywhere in the report.
While this new information is disconcerting to many Congressional Dems, it is less so to their leadership, like Mumbles Pelosi (right), who reside in some of the most liberal districts in the country and reportedly wouldn't mind shedding some of the more conservative legislators in their caucus.
Time will tell if Dems make any course corrections, but it certainly appears they are fully committed to passing Health Care and Cap & Trade at any cost.
If you believe Carville, those costs will be enormous if the economy doesn't improve.

This is very good news - hope it's legit. Coming from Carville though is a good sign.
The Democrats can't get around it they have a Turkey in the White House, and they do not know what to do about it. They keep a stiff upper lip in the face of overwhelming criticism, and innuendos, and still they can't win. This maybe the biggest blood bath election in Modern History, and the Democrats have know idea how to turn the spicket off.
If they do not get Obama to cut down on his childish rants about everything from George Bush to Los Vegas, it will destroy the Democratic Party. Nancy, and Harry, are no help in quieting the storm that has hit the Dems, and there is no one in the wings of the Democratic Party ready to take over.
