FL Pundit Person Of The Year - Nominee Five
Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 6:21PM Since Time Magazine can't make a decent selection, I've decided to create the first annual FL Pundit Person of the Year Award. Over the next five days, I will post one nominee each day and announce the FLPPOTY on December 31st.
The selection criteria is based on positively impacting the conservative cause or simply amusing me by insulting the liberal establishment.
Former Vice President Dick CheneyNominee Five: Dick Cheney (R) - Former Vice President
Dick Cheney spent the better part of 2009 kicking Barrack Obama around for his liberal policies and perceived lack of understanding with regard to foreign policy. In many ways, he assumed the political leadership position of the Republican Party.
It's too bad old Dick has a bad heart. He is considerably more conservative than George Bush, articulates his positions flawlessly and is a great debater. At a different time, he would have been a great standard bearer for the conservative cause.
However, his time has passed and he knows. But that didn't stop him from being incredibly effective at pointing out Obama's shortcomings. He was an absolute thorn in the guys side - for all the right reasons.
For that, Dick Cheney is a 2009 FLPPOTY nominee.
The winner will be announced late tomorrow afternoon. The other nominees are below:

Dick Cheney was a blessing in 2009. He kept Obama's feet to the fire like no one else in politics. His efforts were very important to helping wake the public up about Obama.
Dick has definitely grabbed the reins and taken advantage of the situation. We needed some leadership and he provided it.
Imagine a Texas Death Cage Match - Barry Obama vs Dick Cheney
And the bell.....Cheney makes eye contact with Barry......Barry's eyes roll back in his head.....down goes Obama! down goes Obama!......Barry drops unconsciousness in a pool of his own excrement......the fight is over, not one punch thrown
I give my support to nominee, Dick Chaney.
