Democrats Ponder Name Change

New party logo under consideration(Satire) - After a miserable twelve months, the leadership of the Democrat Party appears to be considering a name change that would better reflect party values and for whom they stand.
Most experts agree this would be a stunning development, but acknowledged that the brand had been greatly damaged in the past year.
"It's apparent that the voting public has caught on to the fact that if they see a Democrat politician talking, they see one lying," said Mike Slivers of TKD Media. "We know they're not going to quit lying - they'd never get elected if they did - so a re-branding may be their best option."
Insiders say they want a party name that will immediately identify them as hard-left liberals and are reportedly leaning toward the name Morons United.
For once, I think they're right.

I've long said Democrats were morons. But I called them idiots too. Hopefully they considered both options.
This would be great. You wouldn't have to call them names anymore. They'd do it for you.
Nitpicking a bit: does "their" = "their" or "they're"? Me thinks that latter, perhaps.
Wouldn't it just be easier for them to call themselves Democraps? That way they wouldn't have to think too hard and only need to change one letter.

If that is the case the next logical step would be: Morons United with Idiots
I personally favor a take off of the party hack marching song "Workers of the World Unite".
It would be entitled................. "A**h***s" of the planet--we are"
