Obama's Top Economic Advisors Contradict One Another

Romer (left of Obama) & Summers (right of Obama)(FLP Opinion) - In an amazing demonstration of just how careless the Obama Administration is, two of his top economic advisers handled the same key question differently yesterday on separate shows:

Question: "Is the recession over?"

"Everybody agrees that the recession is over."

Larry Summers, White House Economic Advisor on This Week with George Stephanopoulos

Question: "Is the recession over?"

"Of course not."

Christina Romer, White House Economic Advisor on Meet the Press with David Gregory

If you can't get your two top economic advisors on the same page for 15 minute interviews, how on earth can you be trusted to run a country? Just think how the media would have spun this if it had been the Bush Administration.
