More Thoughts On Health Care

(FLP Opinion) - Are you someone who thinks it would be a good idea if the federal government ran our health care system? Consider these facts:

  • The federal government has run each of the following institutions for an extended period of time:
    • Postal Service - 234 years
    • Social Security - 74 years
    • Fannie Mae - 71 years
    • Medicare - 44 years
    • Medicaid - 44 years
    • Freddie Mac - 39 years

What do these institutions all have in common? They're flat broke. Out of money. Insolvent.

With a 100% failure rate, how can any reasonable individual draw the conclusion that the federal government is more qualified to run health care than private enterprise?

The facts speak for themselves.
