More Shenanigans From Our Attorney General

(FLP Opinion) - Remember the "Culture of Corruption" label that Democrats successfully hung on the Bush administration? Well, the fact is, the Bush administration was among the least corrupt of any two-term administrations in the last 100 years, based on the dearth of criminal convictions.

It's too soon to say yet, but from early returns the Obama administration looks like they may actually earn the "COC" title. The latest example of their questionable ethics came from a decision by Attorney General Eric Holder. He has determined that the Obama administration may rightfully pay ACORN for projects contracted prior to their defunding by Congress.

This would be like the federal government successfully prosecuting the mob of using a dry-cleaning business as a front for an illegal book making service, but then allowing them to fulfill existing contracts. It makes no sense.

There is a clear patten with this Justice Department. They dropped the charges against the Black Panthers who had been videotaped threatening voters in Philadelphia, and now they clear the way to pay an organization whose corruption was so apparent that Congress defunded them!

Apparently, evidence of wrongdoing is irrelevant if you're on the side Obama and the Democrats.
