AP Uses 11 Fact Checkers On Palin Book

(FLP Opinion) - More proof that the mainstream media is anything but, AP assigned 11 reporters to fact check the Sarah Palin book Going Rogue. They found a total 12 minor inconsistencies but still decided to headline the story, "Going Rogue With Facts."
One fact that they considered misleading was her claim that she stayed in affordable hotels when traveling. While the AP agreed that this was largely true, they did find one instance where she stayed in a hotel that cost $700 per night. The fact that it was located in outrageously expensive New York City and was a one-time incident (out of dozens of trips) didn't change their opinion that she was a liar.
As an aside, the AP did not fact check either of Obama's books. In fact, you have to go back to early 2008 to even find an instance where they fact checked any book. In this day of decreased news budgets, this episode clearly shows where their priorities lie.
Truly despicable and absolutely unsurprising.
